Obituary of Jean Smith

Smith, at The Elgin Manor on Friday, November 28, 2008. Jean Elizabeth Smith of The Elgin Manor and formerly R.R.# 4 Aylmer in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Richard (Dick) Smith (2003). Dear mother of Anne O'Reilly of London and Marlene Ternoey and husband Jim of Blenheim. Loving grandmother of Kim O'Reilly of Oshawa, Mike O'Reilly and wife Sherry of Aylmer, Colleen Erwin and husband Carl of London, Mike Dickson and wife Sarah of New Zealand, Shawn Dickson and wife Corrie of Chatham and great grandmother of Cody, Treven, Tristan, Brendan, Liza, Meggie, Tom and Tess. She will be sadly missed by sisters Grace Johnson of Avon and Ellen Garner and husband Bill of Rockwood. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson Darryl O'Reilly (1984), son-in-law Tom O'Reilly (1974) and a brother Herman Morris. Born in North Dorchester Twp., Ontario on January 10, 1918, daughter of the late J. Moulton and Mary (Dundass) Morris. Jean was a member of the Mission Circle of The Aylmer Baptist Church. She had been a member of the Kingsmill-Mapleton Womens Institute and a 4H Club Leader. Jean had taught public school at Harrietsville and taught millinery. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev.
