Obituary of Larry Roszell
Roszell, Larry Wayne Roszell of Aylmer in his 72nd year. "If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever." After a short Illness with his wife and children by his side Larry passed away on Wednesday Junes 13, 2012 at St.Thomas-Elgin General Hospital. Loving husband and best friend to his wife Marlyn for 48 years. Much loved father of Tracey and husband Dann Bates and Dave Roszell and Julie. Proud grandpa to Tanner, Blake and Harrison Bates and Meghan and Allison Roszell
Larry was the son of the late George and Sadie Roszell. Dear brother of Dick and Lois Roszell, Betty and Anthony Petz, Shirley Pearson and Glade and Dave Gracey and brother -in-law of Jean Roszell. Predeceased by sisters Bernice and husband Everet Weaver, Madge and husband Don Campbell, brother Jack Roszell and brother-in-law Bernie Pearson. He was a special son-in law to Alex and Freda McGregor and brother-in-law to Pete and Sandi McGregor and Rick and Susanne McGregor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Larry was the owner of Roszell's Furnishings in Aylmer for 28 years and he enjoyed retirement the past nine years. He was a member of the Aylmer Kinsmen Club and for many years worked with Bill White organizing the Home and Garden Show. He loved all sports, and played ball, hockey and golf. He played to win. He loved to travel and especially taking the grandchildren camping. In spite of many illnesses he always had a great outlook on life and lived it to the fullest. He was our hero and will be greatly missed. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 6-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 1 :00 pm.
