Obituary of Nettie Fehr

Nettie Fehr passed away at the London Health and Science Centre on April 3, 2016 at 2:16 A.M. Nettie is survived by father Jacob Janzen, husband Neil Fehr, daughter Kristen Peters and husband Ernie children Thomas, Danika, and Elisabeth; daughter Joanie Fehr; sister Trudy Thiessen and husband George and children Joshua, Kara, Emily, and Noah; sister Sarah Wall and husband Jake and children Aaron, Jenna. Though the spouse's family is not typically mentioned, Nettie's was very important to her. Their names are Dick Fehr and wife Margaret, George Fehr and wife Sara, Anne Wolfe and husband John, John Fehr and wife Brenda, Mary Giesbrecht, Liz Fehr, Isaac Fehr and wife Nettie, and Helen Wall and husband Guillermo. She is predeceased by her mother Annie Janzen, sister Anna Janzen, nephew Seth Wall, father and mother-in-law George and Anna Fehr, and brother-in-laws Ben Fehr, Frank Fehr, and John Giesbrecht. Nettie was born on September 5, 1967 in Tillsonburg, Ontario to Jacob and Annie Janzen. She was baptized at the Aylmer EMMC on May 26, 1985. Nettie and Neil were married on May 10, 1986. Nettie was such an inspiration when it came to her faith. No matter what happened in life, Nettie trusted that it was all part of God's plan. She lived her life fully-- serving and worshipping God. Even when her life seemed so grim, she managed to see God's hand at work. Whether it was when her nephew Seth was dying, when her mother Annie was dying, or when she was struggling through cancer, she was steadfast in her faith. She believed so much in the power of prayer. She would pray for her whole family every single day. She most definitely was a "good and faithful servant." On July 22, 2014 Nettie was admitted to the hospital where she later found out she had cancer for the second time. There were many times it looked as if she was going to die, but she always pushed through. She was always such a strong person-- inside and out. Unfortunately, her strength gave out on April 3 at 2:16 A.M., and Nettie went to be with her Saviour in heaven. Now she is free of all her suffering, dancing and singing with Jesus.
