Obituary of Henk Rempkens

Rempkens, Henk of Aylmer passed peacefully with his wife by his side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, March 31, 2016 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Mary Lou (DeKoster) Rempkens. Dear father of Pete Rempkens and wife Ginger of Aylmer and Rick Rempkens and wife Marie of Springfield. Loving grandfather of Mike, Alisha, Jaimie Lynn and Erick. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Jan, Jope, Lien and Mies. Brother-in-law of Pete, Mary Ann(Bill), Liz(Ron), John(Janice) and predeceased by Martin. Born in Tilburg The Netherlands on August 10, 1929, son of the late Jan and Wilhelima (Barteyn) Rempkens. Henk was a retired tobacco farmer. He was an avid gardener of flowers and vegetables and enjoyed bird watching. At Henk's request there will be no service. Cremation.
