Holbrook, at her residence on Thursday, November 13, 2008. Violet Holbrook of Terrace Lodge, Aylmer in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Mervel Charles Holbrook(1993). Dear mother of Sheila Craik and husband Bryon of Springfield and Bonnie Barons and husband Kirk of Aylmer. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother Weston Holtby. Born in Bayham Township on August 8, 1921 daughter of the late John and Pearl (Firby) Holtby. Violet moved from the farm near Corinth to Aylmer 25 years ago. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment, Richmond Cemetery.
