Obituary of Pete Vandevyvere

Vandevyvere, Peter Daniel of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Norma (Miners) Vandevyvere. Loving father of Nancy Spriet( Leon) of Langton, David Vandevyvere of Tillsonburg and step-father of Kim Carson(Jackie) of Peterborough, Waite Malskaitis of Tillsonburg, Joe Malskaitis(Lichelle) Aylmer, Chris Malskaitis (Dianne) of London. Dear brother of Daniel(Govina), Maria, Ludy(Werner), Rika, Elizabeth, Ava and Lena(Bob). Also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 10 Greatgrandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Diksmuide Belgium on April 17, 1940, son of the late Omer and Godlieve (Vlaminck) Vandevyvere. Pete enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking. He enjoyed the outdoors. Pete was a Nurse at the St. Thomas and London Psychiatric Hospitals. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
