Obituary of Betty Esseltine

Esseltine, Betty Irene of Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, January 22, 2016 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Dewey Merle Esseltine. Loving mother of Dewey Esseltine (Janet), Robert Esseltine (Marc D'Antonio) and Patricia Cochrill (Richard). Grandmother of Julia, Richard and Julie. Also survived by great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a sister Telma Jennings. Born in Jackson, Michigan on January 4, 1925, daughter of the late Omar and Eva (Branton) Thomas. Betty loved to cook and entertain. She was an avid bridge player, a member of the I.O.O.D. and worked as a telephone operator for Bell and later, Amtelecom. Cremation. A memorial will be held a later date.
