Margaret Laura Kyle of Aylmer in her 80th year.
Beloved wife for 59 ½ years of James Kyle. Dear mother of Gerald and his wife Krystyna of Houston, Texas and Susan and husband John Beekman of Aylmer Loved by her grandchildren Sean and fiancé Nicole, Sarah and husband Erik Tamplin and Eric and friend Meagan. Sister of Mary Brunger of B.C. Also survived by a niece and four nephews. Predeceased by a brother David Dawes. Born in Stretford, Lancashire, England on December 13, 1928 daughter of the late John and Mary (Hancock) Dawes. Margaret came to Canada in 1957 and to Aylmer in 1971. She had been a WREN in the Royal Navy and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br # 81, Aylmer. Margaret was a member of Trinity Anglican Church and a volunteer at the St.Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation. She retired as an accountant from Johnston, Doyle and Prendergast Law Office. Margaret was grateful friend of Bill W. She fought her battle with cancer courageously and always tried to be cheerful. The family would like to thank her friends especially Annette, Cynthia, Lexie, Mavis and Suzie who were so helpful and loyal to the end. Special thanks for care and support to Dr. R. Washburn, nurses Sharon and Kelly, and CCAC - especially Nancy. Cremation has taken place and a family service for scattering of the ashes in the St. Thomas Anglican Church Yard will take place. The family will receive friends at the Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday October 11, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
