Obituary of Tony VanRooy

Van Rooy, Antonius "Tony" of R.R. 2, Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Marian (Roes) Van Rooy. Dear father of Carol Van Rooy and husband John Moes of St. Thomas, Lisa Demars(Jeff Murch) of London and Gary Van Rooy of RR2, Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Dakota, Dalton, Megan, Maria and Ashley. Brother to Bill (Jo Ann), Maro (Anne), Martin (Cathy) and Riny. Predeceased by John and Dora. Sadly missed by a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Born in The Netherlands on July 12, 1947. He was a member of the Aylmer Horticultural Society and the Canadian Federation of Racing Pigeons. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Friday at 6:45 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, Aylmer on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Donations to the STEGH Chemo Unit or War Amps would be appreciated.
