Heinrich Klassen
July 7, 1946 - October 14, 2015
Passed away peacefully with his wife by his side at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital in his 70th year. Henry was born on July 7, 1946 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Jacob and Susana (Dyck) Klassen. He was baptized into the faith in the summer of 1967 and married to Anna Knelsen on September 17, 1967 at Old Colony Mennonite Church in Aylmer, Ontario. He was a farmer in the Langton area and spent his winters working in Simcoe Leaf tobacco factory. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anna (Knelsen) Klassen; his sons Jake Klassen and wife Elizabeth, Henry Klassen and wife Agatha, Neil Klassen and wife Sara, Herman Klassen and wife Tina, Abe Klassen and wife Susie; his daughters Sarah Zacharias and husband Jacob, Annie Martens and husband Jake and Justina Peters and husband Henry as well as 23 grandchildren who all dearly loved him. He is also survived by his 2 sisters and 6 brothers. He was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Susana (Dyck) Klassen, an infant daughter Susie and infant son Peter.
Visitation will be at Kebbel's Funeral Home in Aylmer, Ontario on Saturday, October 17th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral will be held Sunday, October 18th at 3pm at Reinland Fellowship Church in Aylmer, Ontario with internment at Old Colony Cemetery.
