Obituary of Gerry Hunsperger

Hunsperger, E. Gerald "Gerry", 88, of Grand Bend passed away peacefully at Bluewater Rest Home on Monday, September 28, 2015, surrounded by his family, and in the loving arms of his loving wife Barb. Beloved husband of Barb (Seaton) Hunsperger. Dearest father of Sue Rausa (Rick), Joanne Boss(Mike) and the late Douglas(2012). Gerry was very devoted to his family and he will be especially missed by grandchildren Dave Rausa (Natalie), Carrie Maure (Scott), Kim and Jenn Williams and great-grandchildren Andrew and Elizabeth Maure, Michael and Jack Rausa, sister Dorothy Schmidt. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Janet(Broer) Hunsperger, grandson Keith and granddaughter Rachel. Born in Hanover on February 1, 1927. Gerry was a police officer in Toronto and a dedicated instructor at the Ontario Police College in Aylmer retiring as Deputy Director. He enjoyed curling, golfing and fishing. He was a great "kibitzer" and left his family with many happy memories. The funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 11:00 am. with visitation one hour prior. Cremation with interment in the Aylmer Cemetery.
