With sadness we announce the death of Michael Pfingstgraef on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. Husband and best friend of Patricia (Scott). Proud father of Michele Toth (Michael), Michael Pfingstgraef (Diane). Extremely proud of grandchildren Alexander and Juliane Toth. Mike was predeceased by his brother Martin and his parents Michael and Maria Pfingstgraef. He is survived by his sister-in-law Maria and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mike was born in Waltersdorf, Romania in 1933. He arrived at the Halifax pier with his family in 1951. He became a barber and enjoyed his trade for 45 years. He was a Life Member of the Kinsmen Club, member of the Aylmer Saxonia Club, avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed a good game of poker and time behind a pool cue. He loved being around people and always had a joke to tell and a smile for everybody. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 20 from 2-5 p.m. The funeral will be held Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
