Beloved husband of Nancy (Hird) Silverthorn and loving father of Mike Silverthorn of Aylmer and the late Scott Silverthorn(2004). Father-in-law of Marsha Silverthorn. Loving Papa of Lauren, Kael, Jesse, Dale and Alexandria. Predeceased by a brother Gary Silverthorn. Born in London Ontario on September 9, 1942 son of the late John R. and Dorothy (Whitford) Silverthorn. Cal served in the Royal Canadian Navy and Air Force. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
