Obituary of Mary Matthews

Matthews, Mary of Terrace Lodge, Aylmer passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, June 7, 2013 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Matthews(1990). Dear mother of Lynda Pressey of St.Thomas and Sharon Lybarger of Port Severn. Loved by her grandchildren Krista and Mark Caron, Nicole and Jeff Wiebenga, and Chad Pressey. Predeceased by a brother George Summers and sisters Edith Bowen and Mildred Hart. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Born in St.Thomas on February 7, 1916, daughter of the late Grant G. and Olive (Leeson) Summers. Mary was a faithful member of the Calton Womens' Institute and the U.C.W. at St. Paul's United Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
