Obituary of Louis Dykxhoorn

Dykxhoorn, Louis of Aylmer in his 78th year. Louis went to be with his Lord at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Beloved husband of Tina (DeVries) Dykxhoorn. Dear father of Diane Zylstra and husband Harley of Aylmer, Melinda Peters and husband Fred of Aylmer and David Dykxhoorn and wife Connie of Delhi. Loving grandfather of Brittany Wescott(Mark), Brooke and Brad Zylstra, Amanda Breimer(Matt), Brandon and Brock Dykxhoorn. Brother of Margaret and Herman Bremer, Dick and Nellie Dykxhoorn and Jack and Hermina Dykxhoorn. Brother-in-law to Corrie Dykxhoorn. Predeceased by his brother Tony Dykxhoorn(2008). Lou was a Texaco dealer and operated "Dykxhoorn Fuels" for many years. In later years he worked for Dowler-Karn. Lou was a dedicated member of the St. Thomas District Crescendo Male Choir and the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 11:00 am.
