Martens, Kathy of Norfolk County passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was 67 years old. Beloved wife of Jake Martens. Loving mother of Susie Martens of Langton, Jacob Martens(Leah) of Nanticoke and Kristina Martens of Langton. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers John Berg, Ben Berg, Peter Berg and Bill Berg and sisters Anna Boldt, Nancy Martens and Susana Dyck. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on June 17, 1958, daughter of the late Bernhard and Justina(Sawatzky) Berg.

Kathy will be fondly remembered for her delicious noodle soup and enchiladas served at the Aylmer Sales Arena, where her cooking was enjoyed by many. She took great pride in sharing her talents at the Norfolk Fair, regularly entering both baked goods and flowers in the homecraft competitions. A gifted and passionate baker, Kathy found true joy in preparing homemade treats for her family, always ensuring there was something special to share around the table. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday from 5-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
