Obituary of David Friesen

Friesen, David of Courtland passed away at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was 67 years old. Beloved husband of Nancy(Guenther) Friesen. Dear father of Maria Klassen(Cornelius) of Tillsonburg, Peter Friesen of Dorchester, Nancy Unger(Cornelius) of Courtland, David Friesen of London, Henry Friesen of London, Jake Friesen(Kristen) of Tillsonburg and Richard Friesen of Tillsonburg. He will be missed by his grandchildren Jennifer, Kimberly, Michael, Melanie, Zoe, Leonie, Naomi, Rachel, Hadassah, Abigail and Mason. Also survived by a number of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Born in Durango, Mexico on November 17, 1958, son of the late David and Sara Friesen. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday from 5:30-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, Mount Salem(6700 Springfield Rd) on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
