When Hilda came to Canada with her friend Geinie, my cousin, they came to our house in St..Thomas. I was 16 years old I believe. In later years she would remind me how three of us, Hilda, my neighbour Connie, and I had gone skating, with one pair of skates with which we took turns. My condolences to the family, particularly Irene, our gifted travel agent.
