Obituary of Anna Knelsen

Knelsen, Anna of Walsingham passed away at Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, December 15, 2025. She was 74 years old. Beloved wife of Johann Knelsen of 57 years. Dear mother of Mina Harms(late Heinrich), Tina Unger(Herman), Peter Knelsen(Anna), Jacob(Edith) Knelsen, John Knelsen(Lisa), Gerhard Knelsen, Maria Fehr(John) and Judy Nickel(Jake). She will be missed by 33 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and her siblings Helen Wieler(Frank), Tina Sawatzki(Gerhard) and Eva Peters(David). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on July 11, 1951, daughter of the late Gerhard and Katharina(Banman) Friesen. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday from 2-4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Reinland Mennonite Church on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
