Obituary of Cornelius Unger

Unger, Cornelius of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. He was 50 years old. Beloved husband of Elizabeth(Fehr) Unger. Loving father of Lizzy Friesen(Dave) and Tina Harder(Pete) and foster-father of Jason Unger, Jeffery Friesen and Ronaldo Friesen. Grandfather of Laura, Sophia, Jennifer, Susie, Joshua, Melissa and Lucy. He will be missed by his siblings Jake, Susanna, Henry, Justina, John, Tina, Lisa and Helena. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on April 9, 1975, son of the late Johan and Katharina(Friesen) Unger. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday from 2-4:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Bradley Street Church of God, Aylmer on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
