Obituary of Eric Steele

Steele, Eric of St. Thomas passed away at Barry Family Hospice of Elgin on Sunday, November 23, 2025. He was 95 years old. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Steele(2023). Loving father of Bob Steele(Karen Van Pelt) of St. Thomas, Kathy Learn(Dave) of Aylmer, Joe Steele of Lyons and Aileen Valiquette of St. Thomas. Grandfather of Shawn Pearson, Chloe Jimenez(Ever) and Taylor Brown. Great-grandfather of Oliver and Maximo Jimenez.  Born in Simcoe, Ontario on October 27, 1930, son of the late Thomas and Clara(Webster) Steele. At Eric's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Donations to Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin or St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
