Obituary of Eva Krahn

Krahn, Eva of Aylmer passed away peacefully with her family on Thursday, November 6th, 2025. She was 60 years old. Cherished mother of Danielle Bowen(Christopher) of Vancouver and Jacklyn Schimanski(Shawn) of Mossley. Dear daughter of Katherina(Klassen) Krahn of Aylmer and the late Bernhard Krahn(1993). Sister of Tina Carson(Gary), Lisa Hill, Maria Durdle(Ron), Nettie Krahn, John Krahn(Anna), Helen Krahn, Ben Krahn(Amanda) and Matthew Krahn(Kelsey). She will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews.

Eva was a free spirit with an adventurous soul and had an uncanny ability to see what others could not. Her peace came from spending time in nature, watching sunsets at the beach and gazing at all things in the night sky. She was a tortured soul with a quick wit- a rare combination that made her both deeply thoughtful and endlessly entertaining, a favourite among children. Her creativity was instinctive and her ability to find beauty in broken things was nothing short of remarkable.

Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 5-8:00 p.m. A private family service will be held. Cremation-burial, Aylmer Cemetery. Share memories or condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com
