Obituary of Mark Van Lingen

Van Lingen, Mark of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on September 16, 2025. He was 56 years old. Dear son of the late Clarence and the late Jean(Hyde)Van Lingen. Brother of the late Cheryle Van Lingen.  He will be missed by his many friends, his uncle Fred Van Lingen and a number of cousins. Mark was born in St. Thomas, Ontario on May 3, 1969.  He worked for many years at the Shell service station on John Street North. Mark will be remembered by many of his customers. Mark loved going to live concerts with his friends and never missed a chance to cheer on his teams: Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays and the Cincinnati Bengals. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation from 10-10:30 a.m. Guests are encouraged to dress casual with suspenders or their favourite sports jersey or concert t-shirt. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
