Rempel, Bernhard “Ben” of Aylmer passed away peacefully at AgeCare Aylmer on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. He was 85 years old. Beloved husband of Maria(Wieler) Rempel and the late Justina(Fehr) Rempel. Dear father of nine children: daughters Tina Reimer and husband Clarence of Mexico, Justina Dueck and husband Milton of Oklahoma, Mary Neufeld and husband John of Aylmer, Susy Smith and husband Reg of Aylmer, Nettie Giesbrecht and husband Abe of Mexico; sons Bernardo and wife Annie of Texas, John and wife Maria of Texas, Henry and wife Agatha of Mexico and Dave and wife Peggy of Mexico. He will be missed by a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters.  Ben was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on May 8, 1940. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday from 5-7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
