Obituary of Susana Loewen

Loewen, Susana of Vienna passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, August 17, 2025. She was 73 years old. Beloved wife of the late Henry Loewen(2024). Dear mother of Tina Redekop(John) of Port Stanley, Ellie Friesen(Hans) of Straffordville, Eddy Loewen(Sara) of Straffordville, Anita Thiessen(Pete) of Aylmer, Betty Giesbrecht of Aylmer and Rosella Enns(John) of Mount Salem.  Loving grandmother of Travis(Michelle), Michael(Melissa), Alyssa, Aric(Abigail), Amy(Joe), Alex(Josie), Renae(Jona), Ryley(Ben), Riana(Samuel), Jeremiah, Jordan(Allison), Joey(Edi), Justyn, Hailey(Daniel), Landon, Jaxson, Roman, Naomi and Leah. Sister of Abraham Giesbrecht(Lena), Helen Wall a(Abe), Aganetha  Krahn, Pete Giesbrecht(late Tina), Johnny Giesbrecht(Lisa), David Giesbrecht(Sara), Neil Giesbrecht(Linda), Mary Wall(Pete), and Annie Petkau(Len). Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her twin sons Henry and Corny, and sisters Martha and Tina.  Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on May 29, 1952, daughter of the late Cornelius and Anna(Klassen) Giesbrecht. Susana was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She enjoyed baking kringle and Oma’s special cake. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Straffordville E.M.C. on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment, Calton Cemetery.
