My sincere condolences to Arnie and everyone in Rose's Family on your loss. What a terrific lady and friend Rose was. I met her at the Ontario Police College when we both started around the same time there and formed a bond. You couldn't find a more caring and fun friend as her. She had so many lovely qualities. Although I hadn't seen her for many years, as I've moved away, we still sent occasional messages through Facebook. She will be terribly missed by all of us, but Heaven will have a spectacular garden. Until we meet again Rose.

I am sorry to hear of Rose's passing as it was one week today that we talked on the phone and made plans to see each other . Rose and I worked at the Police college and it was then that I met a wonderful friend. Rose was warm, friendly , kind and funny. She was strong ,brave, and had a wit like no other. I will treasure our visits and shared conversations. She will be missed. Hugs to Arnie and the family.You are all in my thoughts.

Rose and Arn have been our ‘across the street’ neighbours for over eighteen years and there are none better. We often sat in the garage and visited, which included playing with either Lincoln or Shelby, their pet dogs. In fact some of us even talked to the dogs from across the street, just to get Rose’s reaction. We’ll certainly miss her friendship but cherish her memories.

So very sorry to hear of Rose’s passing. We will always cherish the time we were neighbours, all the chats and chuckles over the fence and in the yard while my silly boys played next door and around the neighbourhood, inviting us over at Christmas time for treats and a tour of her beautiful Santa’s and decorations. It was always a comfort knowing Rose, Arnie Shelby (and Lincoln) were there keeping an extra eye on things when my kids were little. She will be remembered always and missed. Arnie and family, my condolences on your loss. Rose was like an Aunt, having spent numerous summers under her watchful eye in the 80/90's being babysat and taken on day trips. As years went by and interactions limited, she would still have that beautiful smile on her face and call me brat no matter the time or the place. Rose was a caring, loving woman and will be missed.
