Obituary of Mike Garton

Garton, Mike of Lyons passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, July 21, 2025. He was 68 years old. Beloved husband of the late Kim(McAllister) Garton. Loving son of Bud Garton of Aylmer and the late Marilyn(Ross) Garton(2019).  Dear brother of the late Rhonda Walcarius(Eldon) of Port Burwell, Kelly Rapelje(George) of St. Thomas and Jay Garton(Tina) of Aylmer. He will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. He was born in St. Thomas, Ontario on March 20, 1957. Mike was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved watching the Montreal Canadiens and was a big supporter of the Aylmer Spitfires. A celebration of Mike's life will be held at the Aylmer Legion on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 5-7:00 p.m. Cremation-burial, Aylmer Cemetery.
