Stafford, Donald Lindley of Aylmer passed away peacefully at Extendicare Port Stanley on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Mathilda "Tilly"(Broer) Stafford for 65 years. Proud father of Karen Stafford-Lahey(Johnny) of Port Stanley, Timothy Stafford(Toni) of Jaffa and Scott Stafford(Wendy) of Exeter. Don took great pride in his grandchildren Donald T. Stafford, Lauren Stafford(Drew), Michelle Gustin and Michael Gustin. Born in Malahide Township on October 9, 1933, son of the late Lindley and Mabel(Carter) Stafford. The Stafford family lived in the Jaffa area for many generations and so, Don resided in the Aylmer/Jaffa area his entire life. A licensed mechanic by trade, Don enjoyed repairing equipment and was well known for his ability to locate; repair mechanical problems and to get things running smoothly again. Along with spending time with his family and friends, hunting and fishing were Don's spare time hobbies and he spent many a fall going north to hunt deer and moose. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 am.
