My deepest condolences on the loss of Don. He was one of my dad’s favourite people and it gives me great comfort to think of them being reunited. We’re thinking of the whole family.

I didn't know Don very long but I got to spend a lot of time with him recently as a volunteer at Extendicare. He was sweet and chatty and I will miss our hand-in-hand walks and visiting with him.

Don lived a long life; and, he will be missed. We did not know a gentler, funnier, story teller who could capture the attention of a group of people. I have wonderful memories of Uncle Don from my childhood. He was a ‘cowboy’ - I distinctly remember the care and affection he showed for horses. He had a great sense of humour and would raise an eyebrow to land a joke with a twinkle in his eye. I am sorry to be unable to attend the service - best wishes to all the family.
