Obituary of Bill Searle

William (Bill) C. Searle

It is with heavy hearts that the family of William C. Searle, known to all as Bill, wishes to inform you that he passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday April 27, 2025. Bill, formerly of Guelph, Ontario, Blind Bay, B.C. and then Straffordville, Ontario, was born to Helen and Charles Searle on August 16,1942. He is survived by his wife, Mima (Sargent), his son Charlie, and his daughter Nadine, her husband Chris (Savage) and his granddaughter, Laryssa, along with his brother Don (Joanne and family) and his sister Marlene (Lehman) and her family. Most will remember Bill as a family man who lived life to its fullest. He loved to camp, travel the roads of our beautiful country, and he loved his cars! He worked 41 years at Armco/Armtec, and then retired and moved with Mima to British Columbia, fulfilling his dream of living in the mountains. Bill was always on the go, be it chopping wood, shoveling snow, camping, working around outside, shooting black powder with the mountain men, or moose hunting in the fall. He was also a long-standing member of the Roamers Car Club in Guelph. Bill enjoyed his happy hour with friends and family each Friday night! Raise a glass of rum and Pepsi to Bill!

A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 1-4:00 p.m. at the Guelph Legion(57 Watson Pkwy S., Guelph, Ontario) Please bring photos, memories and stories to share with the family.
