Obituary of Anna Neufeld

Anna Neufeld (1938-2025)

 

Anna Neufeld, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully at her residence in Aylmer on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the age of 86. Born September 16, 1938, in Chihuahua, Mexico. Anna brought warmth and love to all who knew her. She was the cherished wife of the late Peter Neufeld (2022), and her memory will be eternally held dear by her children: Nettie Guenther (late Jake) of Kingsville, Tina Reimer (late Abe) of Leamington, Annie Rempel (Ben) of Paris, Texas, Pete Neufeld (Annie) of Kingsville, Jake Neufeld (Agatha) of Cottam, Mary Froese (Peter) of Aylmer, John Neufeld (Mary) of Aylmer, Sara Loewen (Pete) of Aylmer, Justina Friesen (John) of Cottam, Lena Reimer (late Stanley) of Kingsville, Suzie Guenther (John) of Aylmer, and Abe Neufeld (Amanda) of Newburgh, Indiana. She is also survived by her sister, Sara Sawatzky, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Katharina Wiebe.

Anna's life was a testament to her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, which served as the cornerstone of her being. She found immense joy in her family, particularly in the simple act of cooking for them and sharing precious moments together. She dedicated many years of her life working at Klachan Farms and volunteering at the Aylmer Thrift Store. Anna's kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer, on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Anna's life will be held at the Evangelical Mennonite Mission Church, Summers Corners, on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment at Calton Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared online at kebbelfuneralhome.com
