Obituary of Tina Giesbrecht

Giesbrecht, Katharina “Tina” of Springfield passed away surrounded by the love of her family at her residence on Friday, April 18, 2025 in her 73^rd year. Beloved wife of Abraham B. Giesbrecht. Cherished daughter of the late Abraham and Aganetha Thiessen. Dear mother of Nancy Bird of Sarnia, Abe Giesbrecht(Tricia) of Springfield and Christy Collins(Patrick) of Sarnia. She will be missed by her grandchildren Sebastien, Nolan, Tessa, Alyssa, Avery, Ava and Kiera. Sister of Susan, Hilda, Lena and Sara. Predeceased by her sister Anna and brothers John, Abe, Nico, Ike and David. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Tina was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on September 4, 1952. Tina and Abe shared many wonderful years exploring Canada together in their RV. Above all, Tina’s greatest joy in life was her family, with a special place in her heart for her beloved grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday from 1-4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Reinland Mennonite Church, Aylmer on Monday, April 21, 2025 at  3:00 p.m. Interment, Old Colony Mennonite Cemetery.
