Obituary of Helena Bergen

Bergen, Helena of Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, April 18, 2025 in her 59th year. Beloved wife of Franz Bergen. Cherished daughter of the late Johann and Helena Letkeman. Dear mother of Anna Bergen-Neufeld(John) of Crystal Falls, Helen Bergen-Woelk(Bill) of Tillsonburg, Tina Turan(Chris) of Lavigne, Lisa Bergen of Aylmer and Will Bergen(Joy) of Edmonton, Alberta. She will be missed by her grandchildren Charlotte, Marshall, Selina, Georgina, Robert, Alfred and Carson. Sister of Mary Enns(Cornelius), Justina Bergen(John), Kathy Heide(Peter), Anna Neufeld(Jacob), John Letkeman, Peter Letkeman and Sara Stone(Derek). Sister-in-law of Abe and John Bergen. Also survived by a number nieces and nephews. She was born in Durango, Mexico on May 28, 1966. Helena found great joy in making meals for her family. She was dedicated in providing transportation for members of the Amish community. Helena was at peace sitting in the warmth of the sunshine. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Open Bible Baptist Church, Aylmer on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
