Obituary of Margaretha Neufeld
Neufeld, Margaretha of Straffordville passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her residence on Saturday, April 12, 2025. She was 76 years old. Cherished mother of Mary Blatz(Pete), Sue Blatz(Aron), Abe Neufeld(Helen), John Neufeld, Henry Neufeld(Jenn), Peter Neufeld, Margaret Neufeld(Steve MacKinnon), Aggie Neufeld, David Neufeld(Naomi), Martha Martens(Pete) and Becky Neufeld(Chris Cowle). Survived by her sister Anna Wall and brothers Henry and Abe Braun. She will be missed by 25 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She is reunited in heaven with her granddaughter Amelia and her sisters Katherine Harder, Mary Braun and brothers George, Pete and Jake Braun. Margaretha displayed remarkable strength and resilience in raising her eleven children on her own. Her grandchildren were a source of great joy and pride. Despite facing many challenges, she maintained a positive and hopeful spirit throughout her life. Born in Durango, Mexico on January 7, 1949, daughter of the late Abram and Margaretha(Friesen) Braun. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Straffordville Evangelical Mission Church on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Straffordville Cemetery.
