Obituary of Ron Brower

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Wayne Brower, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away peacefully at his residence, Extendicare Port Stanley on April 2, 2025. He was born on April 22, 1950, in St. Thomas, Ontario, to the late Cornelius and Dina Brower.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Marilena, and his son Donald Brower (partner Jennifer Brower) and daughter Mary Anne Wentzell (Tyler). Loving papa of Justen, Kyle, Bryce, Tyson, Paige, Ainsley, Brooklyn and Caylee.
He is also survived by his siblings: Ruby Dykxhoorn (Jack), and Linda Underhill (Butch), as well as many nieces, nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his brothers Bob Brower and Jack Brower.

Ron was a man of dedication and hard work. He began his career growing tobacco, and then began to work alongside his brother Jack before moving on to build a successful business selling agricultural products. Ron was a proud member of the Masons. Ron dedicated himself to doing for others, and was constantly working to better the lives of his friends and neighbours. He will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his warm heart, and the love he shared with everyone he met. His legacy of kindness, devotion to family, and strong sense of community will live on in the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

 

Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday from 5-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.  Donations to the Alzheimer Society or Breast Cancer Canada would be appreciated.  Share memories or condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com
