Obituary of Don Mole

Mole, Donald formerly of Port Burwell passed away at Terrace Lodge on Thursday, March 20, 2025 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Linda(Defauw) Mole(2018). Dear father of Melinda Smith. Much loved grandpa of Brittany Alward(Cam), Katie Smith, Kyle Smith and great-grandpa to Kollyns. He will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Donna Mole(2022). Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario on September 12, 1951, son of the late Donald and Mildred(Webber) Mole. Don was a truck driver for McConnell Nursery(Spring Gardens), was a volunteer for the Port Burwell Fire Department and was a member of the Port Burwell Legion. He enjoyed listening to music, especially old country. Don had a wonderful sense of humor and a love for sharing laughter. He had a big heart for animals, especially his chihuahua Candy. A celebration of Don’s life will be held at the Aylmer Legion on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 4-7:00 p.m. Cremation-burial, St. Luke’s Cemetery. Donations to Helping Paws Rescue would be appreciated.
