Obituary of Roger Morin

Morin, Roger Joseph of Eden passed away at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of 56 years to Pauline(Renaud) Morin. Dear father of Therese Morin of Nakusp, B.C., Helene Hendrikse of Waterloo and Roger Morin(Helen) of Mississauga. He will be missed by his grandchildren Luke and Gabriel. Roger was one of 13 brothers and sisters. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Sherbrook, Quebec on April 4, 1936, son of the late Albert and Yvonne(Douaron) Morin. Roger was a hardworking and skilled drywall finisher, known for his craftsmanship and dedication to his trade. Beyond his profession, Roger found great joy in the peace and beauty of nature. He cherished his time spent in the woods, where he felt most at home. Whether he was walking through the trees, or spending countless hours cutting wood, the outdoors was his sanctuary. Roger was a faithful member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church and the Knights of Columbus Club and he will be remembered for cooking eggs for their monthly breakfast. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows R. C. Church on Saturday, March 15 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation an hour before at the church. Cremation-burial, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
