Obituary of Simone Vandenbilcke

Vandenbilcke, Raymonde Margaret “Simone” formerly of Aylmer passed away at Dorchester Terrace on Thursday, March 6, 2025 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Prosper Vandenbilcke(2016) and the late Andre Jacobs(1974). Dear mother of the late Willy Jacobs(2020)(Noreen), the late Eric Jacobs(2023)(Cathy Van Damme), Brenda Cole(Allan) of Thamesford and Randy Jacobs(Rina) of Wingham. Loving grandmother of Sarah, Stephen, Paul, Mark, Chris, Amy, Drew, Lisa, Jeff, Jennifer, Julia, Nicole, Victoria and Melissa and will be missed by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Harry Moerman(1997)(late Anny), the late Roger Moerman(Marie), Mary Kesteloot(late Julius), the late Andrew Moerman(late Donna), Madeline Verstraeten(Walter), Margaret Mezenburg(late Tony). Born in Stavele, Belgium on February 3, 1932, daughter of the late Rene and Emma(Vandecasteele) Moerman. Simone was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church and the C.W.L. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at the Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
