Obituary of Mary Ethelston

Ethelston, Mary of Aylmer passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Ethelston(2007). Dear mother of Melinda Dakins(Reg) of Aylmer and Darren Ethelston(Pam) of Mitchell. Loving grandmother of Carley(Anthony) and Dawn. Great-grandmother of Tory and Macey. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Carol Shelley. Born in St. Thomas, Ontario on November 23, 1949, daughter of the late Victor and Edythe Lindsay. Mary was a bookkeeper for Ethelston Oil Burner Service. She loved to play euchre and enjoyed going to her granddaughter’s ringette games. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday from 5-8:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation-burial, Aylmer Cemetery.
