Obituary of Pearl Ungar

Ungar, Pearl Sophia of Aylmer passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in her 69th year. Beloved wife of the late Michael Ungar(2010).  Dear mother of Lee Ann Ungar(Axay), Diane Boehm(Anthony), Ashley Ungar(Melvin) and the late Michael Ungar(1987).  Loving grandmother of Cedar and Oakley. Cherished sister of Kathy Hartwell(Ralph).  She will be missed by her mother-in-law Katie Ungar and her nieces and nephews. Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario on October 4, 1956, daughter of the late Frank and Sophia(Gomori) Vonza. Pearl worked at IGPC Ethanol for many years. She loved to travel, especially to Britain and was an avid Beatles fan, particularly John Lennon. A private family graveside service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at Cy's Bowling Lanes on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 1-4pm. Cremation-burial, Aylmer Cemetery.
