It is with profound sadness the sudden but peaceful passing of Judith Elaine Swan(née Dennee), on Friday, June 25,2021 at the age of 77. Predeceased by her partner Bob Norris (March 2020), Parents Lyle, and Eleanor(née Sherry), and brothers Robert and Don. She leaves behind her 3 daughters whom she shared with (Doug Swan), Cathy(Mort), Debbie (Jim),Sandra(Jon), and her 5 grandchildren Julia, Laura, Dalton, Logan and Ethan, all of whom she was so very proud of. She was very much loved by her favourite niece Kelly, her two sons Brent, Trevor and their families, Braydon, her childhood friend Linda, and most importantly her best friend and confidant of over 60 years her sister-in-law Judie. The 2 Judy’s as they were called, were inseparable and were able to have many adventures together, they were there for each other through the good and bad times, but most importantly had fun wherever they went. They truly were Thelma and Louise! Judy was born in St Thomas and raised her family in Brantford before moving to Aylmer. Family was one of the most important parts of mom’s life. She loved being with her daughters no matter where they were, and watching her grandchildren in whatever they had joined. Mom loved playing games, from growing up where there were always board games around to enjoying them on TV (Wheel and Jeopardy), or playing games on her tablet. She was still until the very end a very competitive person. Mom was definitely a people person and a mother figure to many. She had several jobs over the years but her favourite was McDonald’s. She worked there for 15 years creating many lasting friendships, but due to health issues had to retire from what she thought would have been her everlasting job. Mom fought, beat cancer but in the end, COPD won the battle, but not without a hard-fought fight. There are so many people we would like to thank, including her amazing neighbours who were there for her no matter the time of day, picking up groceries, picking her up from her hospital trips, taking her to appointments and bringing her delicious meals, that she absolutely loved. Susan whom mom called her 4th daughter thank you for making moms house a home she enjoyed and a special thanks to her 2 rocks Arlene and Joyce, I don’t know what mom would have ever done without you! We would like to thank the nurses/doctors at St. Thomas Hospital, especially in the ICU and the 5th floor, for their wonderful care of mom, during her several stays the last few months, she herself couldn’t give you enough praise. As per moms wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family funeral service will take place at a later date. In Lieu of flowers donations to Speaking of Dogs Rescue or the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital would be appreciated. Share memories and condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com

My Tribute Gift Foundation makes this online charitable giving portal web page MyTributeGift.org (the “Website”) available to you subject to your acceptance of and compliance with these terms of use (the “Terms of Use”). Your donation will be processed through My Tribute Gift Foundation for distribution to your selected charity. Your credit card transaction record will appear as My Tribute Gift Foundation. An official tax receipt for your donation will be issued by My Tribute Gift Foundation. Donations are sent out to charities at the end of each month for all donations received in that previous month. So a donation made on the first day of the month would be sent at the same time as one made on last day. Payments would be sent either by paper check or direct deposit. Please note that the there is 3% + 35¢/transaction fee for credit card processing, My Tribute Gift Foundation collects a 5% administrative fee. These fees help fund the cost of processing all donations, issuing tax receipts, and sending all appropriate information to the selected charity. These fees are assumed by your selected charity, but you will receive a receipt for the full amount of your donation. There are NO additional costs the charity has to endure to participate and accept donations through MyTributeGift.org. According to the American Institute for Philanthropy (charitywatch.org) a charitable organization is considered “Good” if they are spending less than 30% on administration and fundraising costs. My Tribute Gift Foundation helps reduce those administrative costs for charities and allows donors to contribute to lasting memorials for their loved ones.
When donating online, if the donation form has an option to add a tip, there is no convenience fee. The tip is optional and can be adjusted before you submit your donation. The amount of the tip will be displayed to you before you confirm the charge to your payment card. Tips are in addition to the donation amount, so they do not affect the amount that goes to the charitable organization. Under IRS and CRA rules, tips are not tax deductible to the donor.
You warrant and represent that all information and materials you provide to My Tribute Gift Foundation, through the Website or otherwise, are accurate and truthful and do not violate third party rights. YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE FOUNDATION PARTIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACTIONS, SUITS AND PROCEEDINGS BROUGHT BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY (COLLECTIVELY "CLAIMS") ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THIS SITE IN BREACH OF THESE TERMS OF USE OR THE INFRINGEMENT BY YOU OF ANY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF ANY PERSON OR ENTITY, INCLUDING ALL LOSSES, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, COSTS AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING ALL LEGAL FEES) ARISING FROM SUCH CLAIMS.
If in any part of these Terms of Use is held, by a court of competent jurisdiction, to be invalid or unenforceable, such part of these Terms of Use shall be eliminated to the extent permitted in that jurisdiction, for purposes of that jurisdiction, and the remaining Terms of Use shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms of Use and your use of the Website are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and all federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The courts of the Province of Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms of Use or your use of the Website.
These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and My Tribute Gift Foundation with respect to the Website, except as we may explicitly agree otherwise in writing.. No delay or failure to exercise any right with respect to these Terms of Use shall be construed as a waiver by My Tribute Gift Foundation.
As a donor, you are responsible for researching the charity, understanding how your money will be used, and understanding the tax implications of your donation. We will email you a receipt, but the deductibility of your donation depends on your individual tax situation. We are not financial, tax, or legal experts. Please do not rely on our information to make decisions about your finances, taxes or legal matters. Consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
Participating organizations have chosen to actively participate in the “Sponsor Program” to be represented in the Sponsor Charity array in an effort to increase their exposure and the opportunity for more memorial donations to be made to their organization. A rate structure is agreed upon and assessed on each donation processed through that program according to each organization’s individual agreement. Giving through that program has helped many organizations realize a drastic and significant increase in net donations.
If a donation form has a line item of Convenience Fee. The Convenience fee is displayed to you prior to approving the charge to your payment card. The convenience fee is in addition to the donation amount, so they do not affect the amount reaching the charitable organization. For example, a $100 donation becomes a $101.50 transaction. The convenience fee is directed immediately to a for-profit service provider. According to IRS and CRA rules the tax deductible receipt will therefore only be issued for the subtotal amount.
My Tribute Gift Foundation seeks to distribute all funds to organizations provided they have maintained active 501c3 certification in the United States or registered charity status in Canada. MTG relies on the beneficiary organizations to maintain and keep up to date contact information on file with the IRS or CRA respectively. This must be done in order for My Tribute Gift Foundation to exercise care and reasonable efforts to distribute payment promptly, without undue cost and burden to the foundation. In the event that a payment has not been deposited 12 months from issuance, the foundation reserves the right to utilize those funds in its mission to the foundation.
My Tribute Gift Foundation reserves the right to modify, change, discontinue and suspend these Terms of Use, the Website, and/or any services offered through the Website, in whole or in part, at any time, without prior notice to you. Your continued access or use of the Website after modifications to these Terms of Use have been posted on the Website shall indicate your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by these Terms of Use as modified. It is your responsibility to review these Terms of Use regularly.
