McQuiggan, Lloyd George of Calton passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital with his family by his side on Thursday, June 24, 2021 in his 84th year. Beloved husband and forever partner of 61 years of Barbara (Baxter) McQuiggan. Dear father of Tim McQuiggan(Mary) of Dexter, Melanie Smith(Mark Ross) of Iona and Chris McQuiggan (Sandra Maertens) of R.R.1, Vienna. Brother of Mary Lou Snively(Gary). Brother-in-law to Dave Baxter(Joanne), Carolyn McLachlan(late Ed) and Peter Baxter(Peggy). Predeceased by his granddaughter Rachel Lynn, sisters Bernice Sproul(Russell) and Verna Wilson(Keith). He was a loving and adored papa to Becky(Rob), Kelly(Bill), Katie(James), Amanda(Pat), Scott(Patty), Ashlee(Craig), Kristen(Eric), Taylor, Ryan, Drew(Brad), Madison, Kenzie, Riley and Ashlynn. Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Bayham Township, Ontario on February 5, 1938, son of the late Reginald and Hazel (Underhill) McQuiggan. Lloyd owned and operated McQuiggan Farms and Trucking . Lloyd touched the hearts of so many in the community with his generosity, humour and love of people. He will be missed by family and friends. Kebbel Funeral Home on Sunday, June 27 starting at 6:30 p.m. and Monday, June 28 starting at 1:30 p.m. can call the funeral home at (519 773 8400) to register. A private family funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 11:00 am. and can be viewed remotely on livestream. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
