When I went to Western i would visit Uncle Al and Aunt Theresa once a month to watch hockey night in Canada and have Sunday dinner. Uncle Al would always drive me home after dinner.
After that it was always a delight to visit and much fun when they would come to town and we would go to blue jay or leaf games. Uncle Al was a great fan!
It's nice to think of him going home to Aunt Theresa. RIP Al.
Uncle Al was a great man! Always a smile for everyone! He will be missed. Lunch in port Dover was always a fun meeting time. Getting these guys together was always enjoyed by my parents too!
Uncle Al & Aunt Theresa were so very lovely. We loved their visits home to Cape Breton in the summers or fall. Uncle Al had great humour and loved to laugh at all the antics in my mother’s busy household. He was kind, gentle, soft spoken & he loved to laugh. We will cherish his memory & we know he is content to be reunited with Theresa, my Mum & all his family.
Uncle Al was such an instrumental part of our lives - it’s truly the end of an era for our family. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
