Sending my deepest condolences to Evelyn's family. I have known her all my life. She was my Aunt Rose. My Uncle Ken was her brother. I am so heartbroken that I will not see her again. I am sending my deepest condolences to Evelyn's family. I had been so fortunate to know her as a dance teacher, then friend, at the senior centre in St. Thomas. I was saddened to hear of the passing of Evelyn. I first met her at the St. Thomas Senior Centre's line dancing class. I was attracted to her kind spirit and sense of humor and of course to her"Cowboy" line dancing boots. Evelyn will be greatly missed by the line dancing community. My thoughts and prayers are with Evelyn's family during this difficult time. I know that Evelyn is up in Heaven with "God's Angels" dancing up a storm. Rita Demcheson

Peter and I are saddened to hear of Ev’s passing and wish to convey our sincerest condolences to Gerry, family and friends. I have known Ev for quite some time and will remember her laughter, fun times and spunk. I worked with her at Ontario Works where she was liked by all. She was always upbeat. Ev was very active at the Seniors Centre and, for a short time, I took line dancing and she was the instructor. Ev your bright spirit will be missed by many. Rest peacefully my friend.

Gerry and family...I met Evelyn when we worked at City Hall and were reunited when we joined the Strummin Ukes of Southwold. Evelyn's ukelele was beautiful and she sure could strum it to create beautiful music. She will be missed. Keep strumming Evelyn.♥️ Ida Martin

I had the pleasure of working with Evelyn at Ontario Works for many years. She was a wonderful person who I will greatly miss. We also took belly dancing lessons together- I wish I could find that photo of her with her beads and bells. It sort of summed up who she was as a person, always willing to put herself out there and have a good time. I wish you peace during this difficult time, and will think of Evelyn often, with a smile. Remembering my Aunt Rose today with a full heart. She was one of the most wonderful, kind, caring, and young-at-heart souls I’ve ever known—always filled with fun and light. I’ll never forget how she showed up for me when I graduated from my 4-year Fanshawe program, just weeks after my mom (her beloved sister) had passed. In one of the hardest moments of my life, she stood by me, and it meant more than I can ever put into words. Thank you, Aunt Rose, for your love, your strength, and your beautiful spirit. You will be forever missed.

Dear Gerry and family, Don and I wish to extend our deepest sympathies to all of you on the loss of your wife and mother. Evelyn and Gerry were devoted members of St. John's Lutheran Church in Aylmer for many years. Evelyn always brought sunshine into the room. She was an active participant in parish life and left a void when you moved to St. Thomas. I will always remember the two of you holding hands during prayer and hymns.
