Obituary of Betty June Dance

Dance, Betty June of Terrace Lodge, Aylmer and formerly of R.R.7, Aylmer passed away surrounded by her family at her residence on Thursday, December 28, 2017 in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of the late Raymond Dance(2006). Dear mother of  David Dance(Karen) of Lyons, Dianne Bolton of Lyons, Charles Dance(Brenda) of R.R.# 7, Aylmer and Marcia Gartly(Scott) of Belmont. Loved by her grandchildren John Dance(Denice), Trisha Crinklaw(Vern), Sheri Weesjes, Jamie Dance(Jenn), Cheryl Aarts(Richard), Scott Dance(Jessica), Stacie, Stephanie and Shaylene Gartly. Great grandmother of Avery and Devin Dance, Jack, Callaghan and Dana Crinklaw, Benjamin and Allie Weesjes, Alida, Katelyn and Thomas Dance, Regan, Nathan and Morgan Aarts and Kyrsten and Brent Dance.  Sister to Carol (Jim) Sheils, Linda Brower and Wanda (Andy) Derewlany. Predeceased by her parents Maurice and Stella (Grose) Shackelton, sister Jean Putnam, brothers Bill, Jerry and Cliff Shackelton. Lovingly remembered by in-laws, Norma Shackelton, Bill Putnam, Ethel Shackelton, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Born in South Dorchester Twp. on June 09, 1930, Betty drove school bus for 30 years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
