Obituary of Howard Stanley Secord

Secord, Howard Stanley of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in his 80th year.  Beloved husband of Rita (Riffel) Secord. Dear father of Linda Geier(Scott) of Sudbury, Steve Secord(Beth) of Aylmer, Tom Secord of Aylmer and Darwin Secord of Noelville. Loving grandfather of Sheri(Mat), Nick(Cassi), Bob(Jamie), Jason(Jill) and great-grandfather of Logan, Tori, Kailyn, Kaiden, Gavin, Colton and two more on the way. Brother of Lloyd(Jean) and the late Joyce. Brother-in-law of Harold(Lorraine), Jerry(Bonnie), Donald(Diane), Joyce(Wray), Judy(Nick). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. He owned and operated Secord Home Building Centre in Aylmer for many years. Howard coached baseball in Aylmer and he was a great community support to many local organizations in particular, youth sports.  Born in Burford Township, Ontario on March 3, 1938. 

Friends may call at the  H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:00 am.
