Wednesday, November 1, 2017My condolences to the family, Elva was always very kind to me when i would come to visit with Carol McNiece on our runs, and more often then not we were greeted with ice cream bars that always seemed to make running a little easier. I am so sorry for you loss and have nothing but fond memories of Elva.

Tuesday, October 31, 2017Aunt Elva was the most amazing aunt anyone could have. A houseful of cats and love, a giving caring woman, for her family and for the community, in her nineties she set an example for us all. I still have one of the many dresses she smocked for me when I was a child, it is a little treasure and brings back wonderful memories of summers with her in the sun room with a cat on my lap. My sympathies to Pat and her grandchildren who I know will be missing this amazing woman in their lives.

Monday, October 30, 2017Rest In Peace, Aunt Elva. You were a warm, energetic and supremely talented lady. And I use the term 'lady' in the most reverent of terms. Enjoy your reunion in the heavens!

Monday, October 30, 2017What a dear friend Elva was to me. She used to take my Aquavit classes at Terrace Lodge. A lady who was optimistic and postive with a smile that would warm your heart. Loved her dearly. She sure will be missed physically but not spiritually.
