Obituary of Ruth Peters

Peters, Ruth passed away peacefully at Chartwell Home, Parkhill on Monday, March 27, 2017 in her 93rd year. Ruth was a resident of Aylmer for many years. Loving mother of Greg and wife Janet of Lambeth. Gramma to Shannon Holmes(Mark), Katie Howard(Deryk), Brent Harris, Michelle Simpson(Damian), and great-gramma of Kayla, Jared, Syvanna, Keriah, Benjamin, Devyn, Simon, Max and Oliver. Also survived by a granddaughter-in-law Louise. Predeceased by her husband Howard, son David and wife Marg and a grandson Scott. Born in Saskatchewan on June 29, 1924, daughter of the late George and Mary (Moses) Nechiporenko. Ruth was a member of Col. Talbot Branch #81 of the Royal Canadian Legion. She served in the RCAF and was a telephone operator at the Aylmer Air Force Base from 1942 - 1945. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11 a.m. Legion Service Thursday at 6:45 p.m. Family Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
