Obituary of Anna Wolf

Wolf, Anna of Terrace Lodge, Aylmer. The lord quietly wrapped his child, Anna in his arms and took her home on Saturday February 11, 2017 in her 92nd year. Anna was welcomed into this world on April 28, 1925 by Adam and Theresia Kult in Dusz, Hungary where they had moved from Germany to claim their land-grant for homesteading. After the war, Anna was involuntarily carried off with other young women of similar age under the guise of working in the Russian corn fields. In reality she and the others spent four years in hard labour at a Siberian coal mine. Meagerly fed she and her co-labourers were forced to forage for food by claiming salvageable food items from the officers' compost heap to make soup for additional sustenance. Upon her release from the work camp, she re-joined her family who had returned to their German homeland and settled in the small hamlet of Siegelsdorf, near Nurnberg. Anna came to Canada in 1952 and settled with her family in south western Ontario until her passing. Beloved wife of the late Joe Wolf (2015). Dear mother of Kasimira Baxter(David) of Eden, and Kathy Miljanovic(Mike) of Ancaster. Loved by her grandchildren Jonathan Baxter (Joanna), Naomi Baxter (Colin Blyth), Benjamin Baxter (Melanie), Cydney Miljanovic(Mike) and Mitchell Miljanovic. Great grandmother of Carsten and Jordin. Step-mother of Veronica McKibbon(Paul), Gary Wolf (Annie) and Rick Wolf (Velma). Also survived by several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren.)and her niece Eva Jahn. Predeceased by a sister Margarete Amma(1989)and brother Valentin Kult(1945). Anna loved animals and enjoyed nature. During recent years Ann's day-to-day activities were assisted by the caring staff at Terrace Lodge in Aylmer, Ontario, and the family is thankful to the upper north staff. Friends may call at the H.
